Johnny Depp paid tribute to screen legend Marlon Brando as he introduced an intimate new documentary about the late Godfather star. The actor showed off his eclectic style in paint-splattered jeans as he took to the stage to discuss the Showtime film Listen To Me Brando in Los Angeles on Monday. The 52-year-old also shared a kiss with the actor’s daughter Rebecca Brando.
Acting icon: Johnny Depp caught up with Rebecca Brando at a screening of Listen To Me Brando, an intimate documentary about her father, screen icon Marlon Brando. The actors co-starred in the 1994 film Don Juan DeMarco, about a psychiatrist that must cure a young patient who believes himself to be Don Juan. Johnny and Marlon worked together again in 1997 for The Brave, which Depp directed.
Johnny wore a brown linen blazer over a dark vest, along with his trademark collection of necklaces and rings. The Pirates of the Caribbean star also wore baggy blue jeans covered with paint splatters. The intimate film is culled from 200 hours of private audio recordings made by the screen legend.
Depp caught up with actor Laura Dern, who wore a chic black mini dress and boots. On Saturday, Depp was honored at the Palm Springs International Film Festival. The Black Mass actor thanked wife Amber Heard, 29, as he collected the Desert Palm Achievement Award, reported E! News.
