Disney-Lucasfilm’s “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” dominated social media last week with 110,000 new conversations thanks to interviews with cast members and filmmakers, according to media-measurement firm comScore and its PreAct service.

“Star Wars: The Last Jedi” has pulled in more than 3.77 million new conversations five weeks before its Dec. 15 launch. Directed by Rian Johnson, the movie picks up where 2015’s “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” left off. It stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, and Andy Serkis.

Warner Bros.’ “Justice League” produced nearly 57,000 new conversations last week ahead of the Nov. 17 release of the superhero alliance movie, starring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher and Jeremy Irons. The story follows Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg forming a superhero team to save the planet.

Universal’s romance sequel “Fifty Shades Freed” generated 47,000 new conversations last week due to Nov. 6’s release of a new trailer and poster have been released online with the promise of plenty of steamy scenes, underlined by the single-entendre tagline “Don’t Miss the Climax.” The final installment in the “Fifty Shades” movie trilogy, based on E.L. James’ novel series and due in theaters on Feb. 9 — five days before Valentine’s Day.

The footage starts with Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) and Ana (Dakota Johnson) taking their relationship to a new level by formally becoming husband and wife. James Foley directed “Fifty Shades Freed” from a script by Niall Leonard, author E.L. James’ husband. The first two films in the franchise, “Fifty Shades of Grey” and “Fifty Shades Darker,” grossed a combined $950 million worldwide.

Fox’s “The Post,” starring Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep, generated 24,000 new conversations following the Nov. 8 release of its first trailer and poster. Directed by Steven Spielberg, “The Post” centers on the legal battle over The Washington Post and The New York Times publishing the leaked documents of the Pentagon Papers, starting in 1971.

The film also stars Sarah Paulson, Bob Odenkirk, Tracy Letts, Bradley Whitford, Bruce Greenwood, and Matthew Rhys. The film is set for a limited release on Dec. 13 and a wide release on Jan. 12.

“Paddington 2” generated 15,000 new conversations following the release of the first press and critic reviews on Nov. 10 following its world premiere. The family comedy is due to be released Jan. 12 in the U.S. by the troubled Weinstein Company.
