In today’s roundup, both Amazon’s sci-fi anthology series “Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams” and National Geographic’s documentary special “Titanic: 20 Years Later with James Cameron” get premiere dates.

Amazon’s new sci-fi anthology series “Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams” will premiere on Jan. 12. Each of the series’ ten episodes is based on one of writer Philip K. Dick’s short stories and are set anywhere from five to 5,000 years in the future. The series will feature stars like Steve Buscemi, Bryan Cranston, Greg Kinnear, Anna Paquin, Terrence Howard, Maura Tierney, Janelle Monáe, Richard Madden, Liam Cunningham, Vera Farmiga, Juno Temple, Essie Davis, and Benedict Wong. Ronald D. Moore, Michael Dinner, David Kanter and Cranston are executive producers.

National Geographic will premiere its new documentary “Titanic: 20 Years Later with James Cameron” on Nov. 26 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The one-hour special commemorates the 20th anniversary of Cameron’s “Titanic” film and will examine what historical and scientific aspect the film got right and what it got wrong, including an interview between Cameron and Dr. Robert Ballard, who discovered the Titanic in 1985. “Titanic: 20 Years Later with James Cameron” is executive produced by James Cameron and Maria Wilhelm and directed by Tom Grane of Los Angeles-based Mob Scene. Richard Brehm from Mob Scene wrote the special and serves as co-executive producer along with Grane. For National Geographic Channel, executive producer is Betsy Forhan; vice president, production is Kevin Tao Mohs; and president of original programming and production is Tim Pastore.

NBC, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and Dick Clark Productions will air the “Golden Globes 75th Anniversary Special” on Dec. 13 at 8 p.m. ET after nomination s are announced on Dec. 11. The two-hour special will be hosted by Eric McCormack and Debra Messing, who will showcase the best moments spanning 75 years of the Golden Globes, featuring the biggest film and TV stars, red carpet highlights, and fashion. There will also be new and exclusive interviews with Amy Adams, Jake Gyllenhaal, Christine Lahti, Nicole Kidman, Julia Roberts, Jacob Tremblay, Kate Winslet, Brad Goreski, and more. The “Golden Globes 75th Anniversary Special” is produced by Dick Clark Productions in association with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.

Syfy‘s series “The Magicians” will return on Jan. 10 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Based on the best-selling novels by Lev Grossman, ”The Magicians” centers on a young man and his 20-something friends as they discover their magical abilities and unwittingly unleash a dark force that threatens to destroy the magical world as they know it.
