A few months ago, the Movies Anywhere iOS app started offering support for the visually impaired with audio descriptions—but it was only available for at-home viewing of Disney movies.
Now, for the first time, Disney is employing technology that allows people to use the app in theaters. Between dialogue, the app will offer descriptions of what’s happening on screen, making it easier for people who are blind or have compromised vision to follow along. PM
