“Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” dominated social media buzz last week, thanks to the release of its full trailer on Oct. 13, with more than 228,000 new conversations, according to media-measurement firm comScore.

The trailer focuses on Felicity Jones’ Jyn Erso and her father Galen Erso, played by Mads Mikkelsen. Ben Mendelsohn appears as main villain Orson Krennic, who tells Darth Vader about the “immeasurable” power of the Death Star. Disney and Lucasfilm also released a poster on the previous day.

“Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” generated nearly 68,000 new conversations, after Warner Bros. held a special multi-city live fan event with filmmaker panels on Oct. 13. Harry Potter author and “Fantastic Beasts” screenwriter J.K. Rowling revealed that the “Fantastic Beasts” franchise would contain five films.

“Ouija: Origin of Evil,” which dominated social media buzz in the previous week due to the Oct. 6 release of an interactive clip explaining Ouija rules, showed significant buzz with over 25,000 new conversations. Universal’s movie, a prequel to the 2014 hit “Ouija,” is set in 1965 Los Angeles as a widowed mother (played by Elizabeth Reaser) and her two daughters add a new stunt to bolster their at-home séance scam business. It opens Oct. 21.

Sony’s Tom Hanks thriller “Inferno” generated more than 21,000 new conversations last week. The film, which opens Oct. 28 in the U.S., dominated the international market over the weekend with $50 million in 43 territories.

Marvel-Disney’s “Doctor Strange” generated more than 17,000 new conversations, with its Nov. 4 launch date looming. The cast includes Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Benedict Wong, Michael Stuhlbarg, Benjamin Bratt, Scott Adkins, Mads Mikkelsen and Tilda Swinton.
